  • Requirements Gathering

    Getting the requirements correct is essesential to a successfull project; we capture our requirements with an interative mock prototype approach zeroing in on the solution.

    Collecting the correct information is the key to delivering the project right; but many consultancies seem a bit fazed by this.

    At Hume our interactive mock prototype approach allows all stakeholders input into the requirements phase in an easy accessible manner; enabling developers to produce exactly what was intended.

  • Agile Coding

    Turning requirements into a tangile product can face a number of challenges; but our Agile approach will always ensure the client is kept in the loop; we typically implement our solutions using Microsoft technologies using HTML5 for web based applications or Xamarin for mobile apps.

    Using Xamarin for mobile apps allows us to deliver applications for multiple platforms e.g. iOS and Android apps with the look and feel of native applications from a single codebase in C#; if you have invested time and effort in previous projects using .Net technologies then using Xamarin may enable us to reuse that code adding additional value.

  • Quality Assurance

    At Hume we follow either Test Driven Development (TDD) or Behaviour Driven Development (BDD)

    Using TDD we are able to ensure that as an Agile project proceeds you can have confidence that bugs are being kept to a minimum.

    Additionaly if BDD is used then interactive prototyping can be directly traced to deliverable code providing more assurance that the the correct software will be deliverd repeatably.
